Your website's assistant

Every site we build can come with its own assistant. You message it from your phone and it updates your website: photos, prices, opening hours, journal entries. You approve every change before it goes live.

If you can send a text,
you can run your website.

There's nothing to install and nothing to learn. If you can send a photo to a friend on your phone, you already know how to use this. You type or talk like you'd text anyone: "put the new prices up", "we're closed from the 20th", "use this photo of the shed we finished". The assistant has a go. It asks a question if it's unsure, shows you the result, and changes nothing until you say so. It never gets bored, it never forgets what you asked for last month, and it works at 10pm on a Sunday.

Your site, updated
from your phone.

Photos in, gallery out

Send a picture of the new stock, the finished job, the flowers out now. It works out what's in the photo, sizes it properly for the web, and writes the caption.

Content, not code

Journal and news entries, new services, price changes, opening hours, answered questions. You describe it; it makes the edit.

Nothing goes live without you

Every change arrives as a preview first. You approve it, or you don't. If a change is wrong, one word undoes it.

It knows your site

Ask it what's on your services page, when you last posted, or what you changed last month. It answers from your site, not from guesswork.

It can't wander off
and do damage.

  • It only ever touches your one website, nothing else on the server.
  • It never publishes without your yes. Preview first, always.
  • It can't spend money, sign anything up, or email anyone.
  • If it isn't sure, it says so and asks us instead of guessing.
  • Runs on prepaid credit, usually a few dollars a month. You see the balance, and it stops making changes before it runs dry.

Little Bird Gardening

This is a small seasonal gardening business in Wellington with a website that has a garden journal, a services page, and answers to the questions people email about. The owner updates all of it herself, from her phone, in a chat. She sends a photo of what's flowering and it lands in the journal with the caption already written. I hear about it when it publishes, same as you would.

Do I need to learn anything?

No. It's a chat on your phone, the same as texting a friend. There's no dashboard, no login, no software to install, and no new words to learn. If you can send a photo, you're qualified.

What if it gets something wrong?

You'll see it before anyone else does. Nothing goes live until you say yes, and if a change is wrong you say "undo" and it's back the way it was. Every version of your site is kept.

Is my website safe?

The assistant has its own locked-down space, a key to your one website, and no access to anything else. It can't spend money, sign anything up, or email your customers.

Who else can talk to it?

Only the people you nominate: you, and whoever else in your business needs it. It's not a public chatbot and it doesn't answer your customers.

What does it cost?

A small monthly fee, plus prepaid credit for what the assistant actually uses. If the credit runs low it tells you, and if it hits zero it stops making changes until you top up. No surprise bills, ever.

Do I have to be good with technology?

That's exactly who it's for. A lot of the businesses we build for don't want to log into anything complicated. They want to send a message and have it handled.

How it's actually built (for the curious)

Skip this bit if you don't care how the sausage is made. The short version: it's a private assistant that lives in its own locked box on a server we control here in New Zealand, has a key to one website, and can't reach anything else.

Its own private assistant

Not a shared chatbot with a generic memory. It has its own space, its own notes about your site, and it only knows your business.

One key, one website

It holds a key to your site's code and nothing else. No access to email, no access to our other clients, no way to wander.

Real changes, saved properly

Every edit is a normal saved version of your website, deployed the same way the site was built. You keep the whole history.

Prepaid, with a meter

You top up credit; a meter tracks what the assistant uses. Low balance, it tells you. At zero it can still answer questions but stops changing the site. No surprise bills.

Want this on your website?

It comes with any site we build, and we can add it to a site you already have. Tell us a bit about the business and how you'd use it.
